I am so excited to introduce the newest passion project I have been so honored to work on alongside amazing translators!
For its first run, Bitshuve Oif (a brand new Yiddish translation zine) will feature a collaborative collection of select poems by Yiddish writer Anna Margolin with fresh translations from their original Yiddish to English. Readers will discover snapshots of every beautiful piece of the translation process and critical (or creative) replies.
Bitshuve Oif is edited by Rachel A. Martin, a PhD candidate in Literature & Criticism at IUP. Be inspired by Rachel and her additional Yiddish study here.
